Today the President signed a law, the importance of which for the hunting industry is difficult to overestimate.
The specifics of hunting activities is the need to invest significant funds in biotechnical and other activities aimed at preserving and reproducing populations of wild animals, creating a hunting infrastructure. In this case, we are talking about long-term investments (from 25 to 49 years) in the context of the objective difficulties of long-term planning. Until today, the hunting user did not have any legal guarantees for the investments made. With the adoption of the law, the investors in the hunting economy had mechanisms for the assignment of rights and obligations under the hunting agreement, as well as guarantees to continue their activities as a matter of priority, with the conscientious fulfillment of their obligations to manage the populations of game animals. By the way, an important novelty of the adopted law is the establishment of a direct obligation to maintain at least a minimum number of hunting animals within the boundaries of the assigned hunting grounds, violation of which will result in the termination of the hunting agreement in court.
