Adopted by the State Duma on June 2, 2021
Today, the President also signed a law returning the hunting practice to the traditional framework historically adopted in Russia.
This is a law that removes formal restrictions on the conduct of hunting activities within a 30-kilometer zone around settlements on agricultural land and in green forest zones.
It should be emphasized that hunting on agricultural lands around villages and villages has always been historically carried out in Russia. The signed law removes excessive restrictions unreasonably introduced in 2016. Also, green zones of forests around settlements (not to be confused with forest park zones!) Are traditionally habitats for wild animals, whose populations need to be managed, which was unreasonably forgotten in 2019 when this category of protective forests was legislatively regulated.
