Barbary Sheep from Northern Africa (Ammotragus lervia)

The arid hills and mountains of North Africa, spanning from Morocco and Mauritania eastward to Libya and Chad (the Ennedi Massif). Also found in north-eastern Sudan in the Atbay Mountains. In Egypt, this species is considered extinct.
