The habitat range is limited to the southern part of the Baja California Peninsula – in the state of Baja California Sur, south of the 28th parallel.
Primary habitats:
  • The Sierra de la Giganta mountain range, starting 25 km south of Concepción Bay and extending to the southern end of the range, north of La Paz Bay.
  • Carmen Island.
