Здравствуйте! Хочу поделиться своей второй горной охотой на средне - кавказского тура.  Признаюсь честно, после первой поездки и удачной охоты, меня накрыла «горная» болезнь. Мои друзья постоянно подначивали меня вопросами о том, поеду ли я снова на Кавказ, чтобы пополнить коллекцию горных трофеев.  Тем более, как выяснилось из бесед с друзьями, на Кавказе обитает не один вид тура. Решил не изобретать велосипед и обратиться с вопросом о возможности поохотиться на другой вид тура к ребятам из «Хай Хант Про».  Возможно, повлияло моё большое желание съездить на охоту или ещё что-нибудь, но так сложились звезды, что у них оказалось свободная дата и лицензия на охоту в Кабардино-Балкарии. Охотник по техническим причинам не смог приехать, а  я решил не отказываться от такой возможности! Купил билеты на самолет в Минеральные Воды, собрал сумку и отправился навстречу приключениям! В аэропорту меня встретили представители компании, погрузились в машину и рванули в базовый лагерь. В пути наслаждался местными пейзажами,  сравнивая их с предыдущей поездкой. Были опасения в плане погоды, но меня уверили, что в это время туман и моросящий дождь в горах – обычны и никто этому не удивляется. Перекусили, подготовили и проверили снаряжение, и под разговоры о добытых трофеях я незаметно провалился в сон. К утру небо разъяснилось, позавтракали и решили начать подъем в охотничий лагерь. Тем более, проводник сообщил, что день назад в окрестностях лагеря были замечены достойные экземпляры туров.   Поднялись, оставили лишнее снаряжение и решили провести разведку на местности. Не зря говорят – новичкам везет, довольно быстро, на одном из склонов, мы заметили 2 небольших группы рогачей. Проводник определил расстояние до целей 650 и около 700 метров, туры безмятежно выискивали что-то на склоне и, не подозревая, что за ними уже наблюдают.  Решили попробовать подобраться к тем, что были ближе. Пока поднимались, погода вновь начала портиться, надвигался туман и времени совсем не оставалось. Штурмовать горы даже налегке весьма непросто, сделали маленький привал, дальномер показал 370 метров до цели. Решил стрелять, так как погода с каждой минутой ухудшалась, и я не хотел упустить свой шанс. Прижался к камню поудобнее, настроил прицел, задержал дыхание и нажал на курок. В этот момент я понял, что чуть-чуть неправильно рассчитал траекторию полета пули и переоценил свои возможности. Попадание в заднюю часть тура выглядело как неожиданный удар ремнем  по жопе! Стадо бросилось врассыпную, я быстро дослал новый патрон и выстрелил! Мимо! Пуля ударила между ног бегущего тура! Видимо  сыграло роль то, что ранение тура привело к тому, что он двигался медленнее остальных. Мысли отпустить его даже не возникало! Наверное, эти чувства испытывает каждый охотник. В этот момент для меня время замедлилось, я загнал 3-й и последний патрон, глубоко вздохнул и тщательно стал ловить цель в перекрестие прицела. Всё-таки удача решила не поворачиваться ко мне задом в этот день и тур, на доли секунды, замедлил свой бег. Выстрел и попадание! Оно окончательно решило судьбу трофея. Подломив передние ноги, рогач начал медленно сползать под откос. Конечно, сейчас, переживая заново все этапы охоты,  я понимаю, что всё длилось какие-то секунды, но тогда мне действительно казалось, что время просто остановилось. Итог: незабываемые впечатления и ещё один трофей в мою копилку! Стрелял из Blaser 3006, расстояние 370 метров. Выражаю Благодарность всем кто сопровождал меня в этой экспедиции и конечно «Хай Хант Про» за отличную организацию и классный трофей средне - кавказского тура!

The road on the car from the airport of Manas to the base camp in the area of hun t (Narinskiy District), which was on the height 3600 masl. took us 12 hours. Very comfortable camping of the hunters, even the banya is present. At 6:30 in the morning next day we left for the ram search. The hunt took place on the heights 3800-4100 masl. At 0:00 we noticed the group of the proper in size trophy rams and at 10:30 we managed to approach to 345 meters and make a shot. In general the one should be ready for the shot on the distance 550-600 meters in this area of hunt.

I want to share my impression from the first mountain hunt. Some of my friends are mountain hunters and they used to talk about their expeditions and show pictures with trophies when we met. They provoked me to try. I hunted before but just for ungulates of the plains. I know the phrase “Mountains don’t forgive the mistakes”, and tried to do my best. I thought for a while with what company and where to hunt. My main demands were the availability of the official license, a trophy guarantee and comfortable accommodation. The friends advised to contact High Hunt Pro company.I connected with its agent, asked about all details and decided to hunt for Dagestan Tur in the North Ossetia. It was my first mountain hunt and the company gave me good discount. This day came! The representative of the company met me at the airport, we pack all luggage in the jeep and jerked to the hunting base. I admired the beautiful views of the Caucasus while driving. After a while we arrived to the place near the foot of the ridge. There we stopped, took the equipment and began climbing the camp. There we met the guide who tracked down animals beforehand and told us good news about trophy size males in the neighborhood. I’m the beginner in the mountain hunts that’s why followed all advices of the experienced hunters and went to sleep just after the supper in case to gather strength for tomorrow. We got up early, had short breakfast and started climbing while it was dark. I’ve been so thankful to myself that don’t smoke. It was tough. My guides knew that I was the beginner and tried to go in the comfortable manner for me. In a few time we had a rest to look around. One of us noticed a herd in 540m from us and we decided to sneak up closer. I couldn’t imagine that it’s possible to spend an hour or more and walk just 300m. At last I reached the shot distance and saw through binocular two trophy males. I felt myself like the biathlete at that time. The heart was going to break out of the chest, was difficult to breathe and hands and feet trembled from the tiredness. I put everything on the line. I tuned the sight by the distance meter, took comfortable position, hold the breath and gently pulled the trigger, as was taught. The Shot! I could not believe my eyes when saw the Tur rolling down the slope. I hit it from the first shot! I still remember that moment! It was pure luck. The results of this hunt are beautiful trophy, good organization the trip and unforgettable impressions. Rifle Blaser 3006, distance 232 m. Then we cut the trophy, came down to the base and way back to Moscow. Thank you very much to the company and people who supported me and helped to open this world of the mountain hunts and for advices for beginners too.

Hi to everyone. We struggle for the brilliant level SCI record book, Chamois. We have already 6 Chamois, but it is better to make sure and make 8 in advance. The problem was with the Caucasian Chamois, very large animal and so small horns??? Impossible to include in to the SCI record book. Everyone, who was on the hunt in Bolgaria or in Macedonia on the Kri-kri of Balkan Chamois…know Rada. Everything organized very well., as always. It was one of the fastest hunts for me! The place of hunt – Rhodop mountains, Devin city. I flew from Barcelona 17.09.2018 at 16:30. At 22:00 I was in Sofia. The road to the hotel took three hours, at 2 o’clock at night we were already sleeping. The SPA hotel “Ismena” is a good. It is possible to see on Gigle maps. At 7 o’clock in the morning left by Russian “Niva” to the place of Hunt b the mountain ground road. At 8:00 we left the car and how the Garmin showed, we made 700 meters. At 8:30 we have been doing the photos of the trophy already. A good Chamois, on my opinion, the Chamois for more than 100 points. I was shooting not far, about 150-200 meters. A group comprising about 7 animals. The weather was very good, sunny. In the hotel could have a rest and have a lunch. At 13:30 we left to Sofia and at 16:00 the person, who accompanied me, left back to Barcelona. Everything has been done in 24 hours with the flight from Barcelona and back. Though the hunt took about 30 minutes with photos, we moved on foot 700 meters. I had to have a flight not in time due to the rifle, because not all the companies take the weapons and the ammunition. Not always the hunt is accompanied by the search and adventures, but this kind of hunt takes it’s place as well. A little bit of luck?

Wake up at 40:00 o'clock in the morning. Happy with this, soon from the boat to the ground. We drain the Zodiak and on the shore. The ground! No toss! How wonderful! Though the body is still tossing automaticly. Raise to the mountain. From the far the mountain looked inaccessible. In two hours we raise 500 masl. On the road observe a group of females. It feels like they see the man at the first time. We start to move along the ridge. It is amazing how the forage reserve is poor. The Siberian Dwarf Pine is all around.If we seen no females, I would think, “what are we doing here?” Soon after we noticed a single grazing young male. He is some kind of enchanted. We move further to the cliffs. Time for lunch. Sun burnes. The ranger Vasiliy suggests to have a rest and drink some tea. He sais tat the rams will be soon. Everything was like he said. At first we noticed to young males. And higher, just right above our heads, He was standing!     Very large, athletic body! We even didn’t have to look at the horns. This is the real male! The distance was 225 meters. Almost up on the 90 degrees. The shot! Missed? No, the blood fountains from the neck. Got! In to the target! Should make the second shot? Vasiliy stops. We put off the backpacks and prepare to go up to the trophy. We have to go by the vertical cliff very high. And then the miracle takes place. The ram makes several steps and fells vertically down. Going to break the horns! Thought I. With my heart stopped I come to the trophy. The hors are safe on the right, the tip is broken on the right, but it is an old breake. The trophy is taken! Splendid male! 10-11 years. Kolyma Snow Sheep is taken!  

Восьмая серна. От Бухареста дорога до базы заняла 3 часа. База достаточно комфортабельная, и многие охотники знают это место. Удобные комнаты с wifi, хороший повар, очень удобно. На базе встретил охотника из Испании, как сказали гиды ему повезло и он добыл серну 120 пунктов по класификации CIC, стрелял на 350 метров, а в день нашего приезда при добыче второго трофея промахнулся на 300 метров.В 7 утра выехали в горы, дорога на машине заняла около 2х часов. Попробовали пристрелять после переезда оружие, и пошли в горы. Шли на подъём около 2х часов, внешне горы выглядят достаточно легкими и пологими, но это на первый взгляд. Поверхность покрыта кочками и неудобно идти. Наш егерь сказал, что в предыдущий день видел в 400 метрах от подьема серн, но их спугнули туристы, поэтому пришлось идти к вершине горы, по пути пытаясь найти вчерашних серн.После 2х часов ноги устали и я решил отдохнуть с моим напарником перед следующим подъёмом, а егерь пошел до вершины посмотреть есть ли с другой стороны горы в долине серны.Опять повезло пока отдыхали, мой напарник вдруг увидел лежащую в 50и метрах от нас серну, которая тоже отдыхала и смотрела на нас.Всё бы хорошо, но егерь убежал наверх горы с моим карабином и можно было только если камнями забросать мой трофей.Так мы втроём с серной отдыхали минут 10, пока на вершине не появился наш егерь с оружием, и стал нам показывать , чтобы мы не двигались. Серна поднялась и пошла спокойно в направлении откуда пришли мы, тут же  вышла и вторая.По размеру мы оценили трофей как средний, и в отсутствии большого желания бегать по горам решили добыть эту серну. Егерь принес карабин и на дистанции метров 70, трофей добыли. Казалось бы спуск должен был быть легче, но, как и подъём был достаточно тяжел.Всего прошли километров 6-7 на подъём и спуск. Вся охота заняла полдня, но ноги болели сильно после ходьбы. После официального замера трофей 95,7 пунктов CIC и бронза по SCI, 25".Охоту можно оценить как средней тяжести.Всем удачи на охоте

В первый день взял трофей, выстрел произвел на 580 метров, длина рогов-116см, развал рогов-103см.

В первый день охоты в Киргизии, добыл средне-азиатского козерога, с дистанции 520 метров с винтовки Blaser в калибре 7 mm rem mag.

It was very interesting and difficult hunt in the highlands. The guides knew where the animals were but it took time to track down.  All shooting distances start from 350m. The height in my case was 4555m.

After the unsuccessful hunt on the Himalayan Ibex in March, I had to return to Pakistan in December. The friends, who hunted at this time, told me that the hunt must be easy and it might take about 30 minutes. This theme Ibex are in heat: they crowd and go down. Moreover, the snow drives them down, where the grass is still present. Indeed, we have seen a lot of Ibex from the road, however, I was without my rife at that ride, because the Pakistan authorities wasted to much time and didn’t do the permit for the gun import in time. As a result, I was hunting with an old carbine 7mm Remington, kindly given by the organizers. To tell the truth, we have not seen shootable goats from the road. Young males were roaming. The local law prohibits shooting of the males with lengths of horns less than 38 inches. I was shown a group of Ibex, which I should hunt on. I thought, that the distance is not that long and the elevation is not hard. However, it turned different. We started at 3.30 in the morning from the height 2400 m a.s.l, and it took 9 hours for the elevation, which was hard and steep. Besides the steep elevation, we had to walk around the valley for we could reach our Ibex from above. A lot of power was lost for the moving. It is really hard to run at the heights about 3000 meters a.s.l. just right after the plane without acclimatization. And we have reached the height 3600 m a.s.l. The difference of 1200 meters is not easy, we know it as a mountain hunters. As a result, we reached the group of animals from above: the best outcome in the mountain hunt. I shot from the distance 150 meters. It was hard to catch the largest male, because it covered by the younger individuals. At least I noticed an opened back for a second and shot precisely. A wonderful 12-year old male. My friend Sergey Magidov took his own trophy at the first day as well. We had just one day for the hunt, the business called before the New Year.
